For 16 years and counting, the mission of Gideon’s Promise has been to transform the criminal legal system by building a movement of public defenders who provide equal justice for marginalized communities. Through its zealous public defenders, Gideon's Promise is working to end mass incarceration, keep families together, and build the bridge toward justice.
The 2023 A Night to Celebrate fundraising event is on September 21, 2023, from 6-10 PM in New York, NY! It will be held at the Manhattan Penthouse. Hosting this in New York allows us to build bridges with multiple communities and make justice a reality for all!
We will recognize two incredible individuals within the Greater New York City area. This year we are honoring Litigator, Barry Bohrer with the 2023 Ian Yankwitt Equalizer Award and Criminal Defense Lawyer, Richard Jasper with the 2023 Champion of the Community Award.
Join us for an evening to celebrate these champions for justice. We'd like to thank our incredible sponsors for the evening. Please see listing of all sponsors below for more information!
